At our church, elders are spiritually mature members of our community who serve as our spiritual leaders and guides. Instead of managing a business, their primary role is to "shepherd" our congregation, meaning they pray for us, offer guidance during tough times, protect the unity of our church, and ensure our teachings stay true to the Bible.

 

Think of them as trusted mentors who look out for the spiritual health and well-being of everyone in our church family. They lead not by exerting authority, but by serving with humility and setting a healthy example for us all to follow.
